The German Navy participates in the Kavala AirSea Show once again this year with the aircraft Dornier 228, which is fully equipped especially to monitor pollution levels in seaside areas. The aircraft team consists of 5 members from the German Wing of the North Sea and its participation includes also static display at the regional airport of “Megas Alexandros” for the public interest.
The SOKO G-2 Galeb (English: Seagull) is a single engine, two-seater advanced jet trainer and light ground-attack aircraft that was designed by ATI and manufactured by SOKO of Yugoslavia. G-2 Galeb was the first jet aircraft serial manufactured in Yugoslavia and the Balkans.
The team is a part of Romanian Aero Club sponsored by Ministry of Transport. All airplanes are paint in yellow, red and blue colors (Romania flag colors) and are equipped with white smoke generators. The solo pilot (+1) did not join the main diamond formation during all demonstration.
